Habitat Recovery Project
Vinton, Louisiana
2024, ongoing
A sculptural space built in collaboration with a community resisting fossil fuel industry-driven gentrification, erected along the path of a proposed pipeline. Using sustainable materials like clay, timber, recycled glass, and straw, we designed a structure that symbolized solidarity, environmental justice, and activism. The space served as a platform for dialogue and resistance, connecting the community to their land and ancestral roots while addressing the environmental impacts of fossil fuels.
